Applied to all web apps regardless of activation status


It appears that this is "applied" to all web apps in a farm once installed. I spent a day last week trying to figure out why descriptions were not appearing on a document library edit form. I had this installed on the farm but it was activated on the web application were I needed it (Web App A), but not on Web App B. However, I couldn't get the descriptions to show in Web App B until I uninstalled this from the farm.
Any ideas?

I also had the same problem, however the install/uninstall worked to uninstall quickly thanks.

I like the product but have the same problem. For me after install, it appears that any list type this applies to, all decriptions disappear. From what I can tell the issue is because when installed, and it gets applied to existing lists, the Field Description is set to Label by default. I believe since label isn't really an out of box option, this may be the issue. Could this be changed to default to Control instead? I believe this may resolve the disappearing discriptions on install.

eJugnoo, have you looked at this issue lately? Could it be how the Application Content is unpacked to the Server?
